Dreams Come True Drinks on Me Make Taste not Waste

Founded in 2020, CFC was born from a purpose to help others achieve dreams and success in food and beverage businesses.

Sometimes it’s learning the “what not to do” and sometimes it’s knowing when to ask for help.

In one of the most complex industries with a high rate of failure, we are here to mitigate risk and be your partner in beating the odds.

Amy Troutmiller

Founder & CEO

Amy Troutmiller (she/her) is a career beverage professional with experience spanning 25 years and multiple facets of the industry. Beginning in hotels and restaurants, Amy worked in Operations Management and Senior Director roles with chef Eric Ripert, Kimpton Hotel Group and The Ritz Carlton. She then transitioned to wine import and distribution, first as founding partner in a Mid-Atlantic Regional wholesale company, then as sole-executive for a National importer and distributor.
Today, in addition to Common Fuel, Amy is the Co-Founder of SWIG Partners, and the COO of Really Good Boxed Wine.

She uses her unique expertise, intimate knowledge of the 3-tier system, and operational efficiencies in food and beverage businesses, to help others succeed in an industry rife with regulatory and financial hurdles.
Common Fuel works with clients across the world, from restaurants to wineries to e-commerce to start-ups. The company focuses on advisory and business development, but loves a creative project. Amy is excited to continue the growth of Common Fuel; to become the go-to resource for opening and scaling businesses in the world of food and wine.
